If you’ve seen these David Burke Bloomingdales Deals recently and wondered how they are… 

I just saw another one on Travelzoo, $79  – 3 course dinner for two with bottle of wine or sangria plus dessert wine is a pretty good deal. (Better than Restaurant Week). Plus, they let a table of 4 use 2 vouchers so you can make it a double date like we did.

Good portions and good service.

The food? It was ok. I’d say 3 Chubbys. I had a basic tomato/mozzarella salad, braised short ribs (which was really tender and pretty yummy) over polenta and creme brulee. My friend loved her angry shrimp and the fish was cooked decently. The cheese bread at the start is always a buttery bomb! in a good way of course.

Nothing spectacular. Basic but good. Specially if all you want is an inexpensive night out with friends and plenty of booze.
